Community Palliative Care Nurse - Registered Nurse, Division 1 - Grade 3

Eastern Palliative Care is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers home-based palliative care to clients and their carers living within the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne.

This specialised work requires special staff, if you are currently a hospital based nurse or if you have experience as a community based nurse in another setting and you are looking to provide high quality and evidence based care, this may be the role for you.

We have a FIXED TERM vacancy for a Division 1 Nurse at our Wantirna location until August 2011. You will be working with other skilled professionals to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

To be successful, you will have:

• relevant experience in community or hospice-based palliative care
• registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• good driving record and current driver’s license

Previous experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team will be well regarded.

Some out of hours work, as rostered, is required by this role.

Pool vehicles are generally available, however use of your private vehicle may be necessary on occasions.
